Data Residency Commitments

Telmai executes all data-quality computations within the customer’s Microsoft Fabric engine via query push-down; raw customer data is never copied to or stored in Telmai’s infrastructure.

Telmai stores only derived data — aggregate metrics, object and column metadata, monitor and incident records, and encrypted OAuth tokens and integration credentials — and processes AI inference on Microsoft Azure OpenAI. This derived data is currently processed and stored in a single Azure region, East US 2 (United States), for all customers, regardless of their Fabric tenant geography. Customers outside the US should note that derived (not raw) data is processed in the US. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Azure platform encryption, plus AES-256-GCM for tokens and secrets). Customer data reaches third parties only through Microsoft-operated Azure services and integrations the customer explicitly configures (Jira, Slack, Teams, email, or a customer-supplied webhook), and never as raw table rows.
